My educational background is in food and nutrition and public health. I obtained my masters degree in Food and Nutrition from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. My area of specialization was in childhood obesity among adolescents. Throughout my academic training and experience I have practiced the field of clinical dietetics in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. In addition to my job at CTED, I practice as a Clinical Dietitian at Zeeland Community Hospital. My goal as a dietitian and nutrition therapist is to promote general health and well being, prevent disease, and raise health awareness among my patient population. My personal interests include spending time with my family, swimming, and cooking.
